All Driver’s Training (BTW) MUST Be Completed Within 90 Days of Start Date.
Third Party Testing for Driving Exam will be $35/$45 Fee. SC DMV will have fees to be paid as well.

Classroom Instruction: Each student will be given eight consecutive hours of classroom instruction. Each student will be given 6hrs behind the wheel driving sessions prior to being issue a certificate of successful completion of the course. (BTW)
Drivers Training Vehicle: The vehicle used for instruction has standard safety and operating equipment which includes dual braking systems and dual inside rear-view mirrors and an automatic transmission to insure a safe driving session.Returned Check Policy: Steer Clear Academy will assess a fee of ($35) for any checks returned due to insufficient funds.
Substance Abuse Policy: Any student who arrives or is present for any instruction and “APPEARS” to be under theinfluence of ANY alcohol, marijuana, controlled substance, illegal or illicit drugs will have their monies returned to them immediately and be dismissed from the course/premises.
Dress and Behavior Policy: Dress code will be consistent with any office and or school system (for students under 18). While driving students must wear tennis shoes or some type of closed toe shoe without heel.
Length of Behind the Wheel (BTW) Instruction: Each student is required to receive a minimum of six hours of BTW instruction. Lessons begin with the arrival of the instructor and ends upon the departure of the instructor. In case of inclement weather such as rain, sleet, snow, or ice all BTW instructions will be rescheduled.
Completion of the program doesn’t guarantee a Driver’s License by the SC DMV
Cancellations: Student or other responsible adult agrees that in the event of a non-emergency cancellation, the schoolwill be paid $15 cancellation fee. If the instructor is there to complete the lesson & there’s a no show. This will be policyunless the cancellation is made by the student or guardian (must be 18 to do so) within 24 hours of notice prior to the scheduled driving lesson.
Damages to the Driver Training Vehicle: In the event of an accident while training a student, the police/sheriff will be notified immediately.
